This is the part of the story where I become a puddle on the floor. No more, no more must I wear this suit of meat around my bones like concrete smothering grass that could’ve grown. I go deeper than my skin and I reach further than my thoughts so when life does me in and boils me down to my building blocks, I will breathe the moon into my lungs and let my heart merge with the sun; I will melt into the dirt from which I sprung with a smile. Meanwhile, my entire experience flashes by in single file like a wedding procession down the aisle.
Those here to be wed?
Me living and me dead.

First kid out, I was loud
Spouting off, I was proud
Sharing my parents shroud
They encouraged, not allowed
What may have started as a good thing only got me into trouble
Anxiety and extra weight crept in to make a bubble
That kept me out of touch with the whole I needed so much
